Ruthless readings – where are we in the text? (Dr Rachel Starr)
This workshop will explore connections between our own experiences and the book of Ruth. We will explore the question: Where do we find ourselves in the story of Ruth? The workshop will include an opportunity to ‘write back’ to one of the characters in the story.
-
An interactive Bible Study on Ruth (Revd Ben Clowes)
Rev Ben Clowes, has produced a set of interactive Bible Studies on the Book of Ruth linking in with the Connexional Year of Testimony. During the session Ben will explore how he structures a Bible Study group along with using some of the material for one of the sessions in the studies as an example. Participants will be able to take away a full set of four Bible Study sessions.
-
Preaching Ruth (Revd Graham Jones)
Compelling story, great characters, complex relationships and timeless themes – what is God wanting to say through this brief but rich text and how can we help it connect with people’s lives here and now? An opportunity to share creatively, to be inspired and to plan our three points (or not!).
-
